Bolton Wanderers

Manager: Gary Megson

Chairman: Phil Gartside

One of Bolton Wanderers' most memorable games came in the year of 1923: an F.A. Cup final against West Ham United.  The game was known as the "White Horse Final" due to the horse that the police used to usher invading fans off the pitch in order to get the game started.  Bolton won the game 2-0 in what was the first ever final to be played at Wembley Stadium.  Bolton went on to win the cup twice more in that decade, in 1926 and 1929.

In recent seasons, Bolton have been enjoying a great deal of success and have been a regular feature in the upper tier of the Premiership.  The departure of Sam Allardyce is likely to have a big impact upon Bolton in the coming season, and they may well fall back down the table due to the lack of stability.

Bolton Wanderers star player of the Premier League

We have chosen Jay Jay Okocha to be Bolton Wanderers star player of the Premier League becuaus this Nigerian midfielder was an exceptionally skillful player who made goals out of nothing and was such an hard player to mark. He was with out doubt a world class player.

Okocha played well over 100 games for Bolton and was certainly a fans favourite at the Reebok scoring and creating some fantastic goals along the way. His influence and drive in the midfield was one of Jay Jay Okocha`s main attributes along with his unbelievable skill and creativity.
