Chelsea

Manager: Avram Grant

Chairman: Roman Abramovich

Formed in 1905, Chelsea have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football, and have had two main periods of success; one during the 1960's and early 1970's, and one that began in the late 1990's and lasts till the present day.

Chelsea's home is the 42,055 capacity Stamford Bridge in West London.  However, the stadium is not actually located in the district of Kensigton and Chelsea, as their name suggests,  but lies in the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The clubs traditional crest is a ceremonial blue lion holding a staff.  However, Roman Abramovich's reign as owner has seen a modified version of the tradiotional crest, perhaps underlying Chelsea's new identity as an altogether different type of club - one intent on global domination.

Even before Abramovich brought them recent success, Chelsea could bost one of the biggest fan bases in English football, with an estimated 4 million fans.

Chelsea`s star player of the Premier League

We have chosen Gianfranco Zola to be Chelsea`s star player of the premier League because he was one f the most talented players the Premier League has ever seen with his skillful dribbling of the ball and his vision and technique. Zola had a great understanding of the game and often you would here names like wizzard and genius from commentators, pundits, experts and fans because he was that good of a player to watch.

The Italian was a man you would gladley pay your money to watch and you would go away from the game not being disappointed with the magnificent attacking flair of this tramendous Footballer.
