Reading
When Reading acheived promotion to the Premier League on March 25th 2006, they set a new record for being the quickest team to acheive promotion since before the war. They also managed to gain the highest points tally ever attained in any of England's 4 top leagues. With records like these, Reading had reason to be hopeful in what was their first ever time in the top division of English football!
They are nicknamed the Royals, due to their location in the royal county of Berkshire, and their mascot is a lion known as Kingsley Berkshire.

Reading`s star player of the Premier League
We have chosen Nicky shorey to be Reading`s star player of the Premier League because he is a telented individual who is in the team week in week out for Reading.
Reading have not been in the Premiership for very long but Shorey has been a cositant performer through out Reading`s amazing journey in the Premiership.
Reading signed Nicky Shorey from Leyton Orient in 2001 and since then has been fantastic for Reading helping his team cerment a regular place in the Premier League.
