Bill Nicholson, who joined the club as an apprentice in 1936, stayed at White Hart Lane for an incredible 68 years, serving the club in every capacity from boot room to president along the way. In his first game as manager in October 1958, Spurs beat Everton 10-4 - their record win at the time and a sign of things to come! Nicholson subsequently guided Tottenham to major trophy success three seasons in a row in the early 1960's, using key players such as Danny blanchflower and Jimmy Greaves.

Tottenham Hotspur`s star player of the Premier League
We have chosen Jurgen Klinsmann to be Tottenham Hotspur`s star player of the Premier League because, although Klinsmann wasn`t at White Hart Lane for very long, we believe he was very influential in Tottenham`s season with some magnificent goals. Klinsmann won the Spurs fans over almost instantly and was a great success at the Lane.
Klinsmann was a World Cup winner in Italia 90`, he signed for Spurs in 1994, he played 41 times soring 21 goals. Through out his career he had an estonishing strike rate making him a world renound Footballer.
Jurgen Klinsmann was recognised all over the world and when Tottenham brought him to White Hart Lane, it lit up the Premier League and was great for the Premier League and for Tottenham hotspur, so much so that a few years after letting him go at the end of the 95 season, Spurs brought him back on loan in the 97-98 season and not quite as many games played in that season because he was coming to the end of his career, he was still very exciting and brought quality to Tottenham Hotspur.
